The need
Internet radio is enormous and badly organised. Directories are lists, stream metadata is inconsistent, and most players stop at play and pause. Spinn Radio needed a discovery experience that made the scale legible and the listening reliable.
What Dynamic Labs Mindware did
Dynamic Labs Mindware designed and built the whole product: the interactive globe, the station catalogue and directories, the player and stream handling, accounts and subscriptions, the mobile apps, and the infrastructure behind them.
What it does today
- 1Interactive 3D globe that places live stations geographically, with audio-reactive visuals and a one-tap Spin to land on a new station
- 2Station directories by genre, country and trend, with search and per-user favourites
- 3Persistent player with live stream metadata, HLS support and AirPlay
- 4Talk, podcast and news sections alongside music, sports and an original DLM music catalogue
- 5Accounts, Spinn Pro subscriptions through Stripe and Apple in-app purchase, and an in-app assistant
- 6Installable web app plus native shells for iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play)
